As the title says. How do you tell in DOS whether a primary partition is NTFS? What command do you use? Thanks.

Generally, under MSDOS, NTFS partitions are not shown.

Thanks for all the replies. What I mean is: how can you test under DOS whether a primary partition is NTFS? Not by using Diskgen and the like to look at its code, but can it be determined by testing with some command?

Use debug to read the partition table, and judge whether it is 07.
