The C: partition is NTFS, and menu.lst is placed in c:\boot\grub\. Booting is very slow, it seems to be searching for menu.lst on other partitions too. If I put it in c:\, it becomes much faster.
But the old version of grldr was very fast (0.95). Can I adjust the search order?

The menu.lst file placed together with GRLDR has the highest priority. It can be executed without going through the preset_menu search. In other words, if it exists, it is executed directly, so preset_menu will not be shown or executed.

If you want to modify the command sequence in preset_menu, of course that can be done. Just change it in the original source code and recompile.
