I have a PCMCIA to IDE adapter card, and I connected a normal CD-ROM drive to it. But after installing Cardsoft under DOS, I still can't find the CD drive. I found a PICC.exe driver which seems to be the driver for this kind of card, but there are also errors. I went to the manufacturer's website of the card (it says "skymaster" on the card), but its driver doesn't work either, saying that a client driver is necessary. I also read the post about installing a PCMCIA CD drive in the forum, but it still doesn't work. I directly used its config.sys file, and it said that card service was needed. I installed Cardsoft, but it still didn't work. I'm crying. If any expert knows how to use it, please give me some advice. I'm very grateful.
