I used a friend's computer to go online yesterday. When I logged in as administrator for the second time after booting, it always didn't enter the desktop. I selected the "System Restore" option in safe mode, but it seemed to have no response. So I restarted, and the result was that when logging in to the system, it automatically logged out immediately, and returned to the login window. It was a cycle of logging in -> logging out -> logging in!!!
It's an XP_sp2 system, and I don't seem to have changed anything. Oh my god. There was a similar problem with the previous Win2000 system, but later I fixed it myself. Maybe it was caused by confusion after multiple adjustments to partitions, so that the Win2000 system couldn't recognize which one was the system disk. Later, I used DiskGen to rebuild the MBR and partition table, and somehow it was fine. But I didn't change the partition table on this computer, and I finally used the USB boot disk to enter and saw that there was only one primary partition and two extended partitions. I tried the above method, but it was ineffective. Have you encountered a similar situation? Looking forward to the solution from the experts!!! Thank you!!!! (I'm waiting here for your reply) |

It is also possible to be related to the directory C:\Documents and Settings\ (for example, directory corruption, permission corruption, etc.) or other directories under this directory, such as Administrator, ALL USER and several other directories.
You can try this way: Boot with an XPE CD, or hang the hard disk to another 2K/XP system, or use DOS4NTFS, Anyway, as long as you can access the C drive, try renaming the "Administrator" directory under C:\Documents and Settings\ (or rename several other directories). |

"Only one primary partition and two extended partitions?
Why are there two extended partitions?" |

I encountered this situation before, and I can't remember exactly what caused it.
It seems that it was caused by me randomly deleting the registry or during optimization. Later, fortunately, I had a CD drive and a Shenshan Hongye PE disk. I used it to boot into WINPE and then performed a restore operation on the registry of the local hard disk system. (Because I deleted a certain registry information at that time, which caused this phenomenon, so I knew how to restore it. Now it has been too long, and I can't remember.) Then it returned to normal. |
