I think that for each forum section, having too broad a scope may not necessarily be a good thing. It might be better to make the scope smaller but more refined. For example, how about having several DOS sections like the following:

DOS learning / newbie guide
DOS boot disks / LOGO technology
DOS multimedia technology
DOS programming / development
Special DOS discussions
Use of USB devices under DOS
...

And so on. What do you think?

DOS multimedia technology and the use of USB devices under DOS can be merged into a “DOS driver section.” Special DOS discussions can also be merged with the off-topic posting section; it doesn’t have to be “special topics”—as long as it revolves around DOS-related subjects, people can discuss them freely and broadly. A Chinese DOS section is absolutely indispensable. That’s all I can think of for now; if I get new ideas, I’ll mention them later.
