My computer has W2000 installed, and there is a backup on drive F. Now it says something is missing, and I can't get into the 2000 system. But I don't know what to do to restore the 2000 backup from drive F. Is there any expert willing to help me?? On the first day of the New Year, I would be extremely grateful. Wishing good people peace for a lifetime, great prosperity in the Year of the Dog, and may everything go as you wish!

Right now is exactly the time for resting, having fun, and family reunion. I wonder if there is any kind person online?

Boot into the system with a boot disk, then repair it.
Or boot with the 2000 installation disc and do a repair install.

It should be GHOST, if I'm not mistaken.

Then use a maintenance disk with GHOST on it (such as the bundled disc from "Computer Fan") to boot up, enter GHOST, and find the backup
file.

Just a friendly reminder: don't pick the wrong partition, I've already made that mistake before.

First you need to have the ghost.exe executable file. Run it, for example F:ghost press Enter then press Enter again
Then choose the restore steps: first item, second item, third item, and find the backup xxx.gho image file
Press Enter then press Enter again ghost will restore automatically then press Enter once more after the computer restarts it will be OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
