The following are HZK16 with different font styles generated under WINDOWS: Song -- HZK16S Fang -- HZK16F Hei -- HZK16H Kai -- HZK16K (Fang and Kai fonts are similar in shape but still different in style) Youyuan -- HZK16Y Li -- HZK16L (Poor effect) The other three are font libraries of Chinese character systems under DOS: Thick -- HZK16C Thin -- HZK16X (Similar to XZL font) Complex -- HZK16V Attachment 1 contains 5 font libraries: Song, Fang, Hei, Kai, Youyuan. SimSun style is a bit like regular script -- because 16-dot matrix can only reflect the angle changes of strokes, not the thickness changes of strokes; regular script has converged strokes, while SimSun has strong force in extending strokes, which is exactly the characteristic of SimSun! The two look the same at first glance.
