I don’t think promotion is necessarily lacking. Among the limited number of DOS websites in China, New DOS Era can already be counted among the very best. The key is to make the work solid and practical. How do we make visitors reluctant to leave? I think developing DOS is not just a slogan; we can really get in touch with some experts and do work like Chinese localization of DOS software, translation of tutorials, and so on. I think that compared with DOS itself, language is quite a high barrier. Because of that, DOS’s ease of use is not well known to Chinese users (especially beginners). Somebody ought to do this work after all. Also, I imagine most people who come to a DOS forum are not here just for off-topic chatter. There’s an issue of positioning here: ninety percent of people would not regard this forum as entertainment-oriented. So I think being practical is the key to raising activity.
The section the webmaster proposed could be called “DOS Discussion ◎ Debate Space”.
We could also open sections for Chinese localization of DOS software; batch commands; and so on---it needs to be made more concrete.

明月鹭鸟飞, 芦花白马走。
我自一过后,野渡现横舟。
青云碧空在,净瓶水不流。
