-Tell everyone a piece of good news. After the efforts of Mr. Climbing, Mr. Hnlyzhd, and me, as the New Year is approaching, we have decided to bring you a small software—Avlgomgr/Avlgo, which can make it more convenient and simpler to use floppy disks, hard disks, and CD image files for virtual booting on Windows 2000/XP systems.
-This small tool will be released in the near future. For specific details, please see:

Avlgo - Grub Express Edition
Now, I can reveal some details about Avlgo to you. Of course, you can not care about these contents because the truth about Avlgo will be made clear when Avlgomgr is released in the next two days! : )
First of all, Avlgo is based on the official version of Grub 0.97 and has added some characteristic functions; the focus of this special Grub is to prepare a fast food for friends who are troubled by the capacity size and continuous storage of floppy disk image files when using VFloppy under Windows! Why is it fast food? Because it doesn't require you to have any understanding of Grub and Grub's configuration menu; when using it, you only need to specify a disk image file through the Windows GUI program of Avlgomgr. This superiority is the reason why people praise VFloppy, because simplicity is beauty—now Grub can also achieve this (what's more, Vfloppy is based on Grub to be made).
Avlgo is a streamlined version of Grub, which is tailor-made to achieve the above goal. So it has some omissions in some aspects. Friends who know Grub must know Grub4DOS, which can be said to be the most powerful and flexible Grub version currently, but unfortunately, Avlgo does not include these enhanced functions, such as the support of map, chainloader for non-boot sectors, findroot, scdrom, and Chinese support. So if you need such things in practice, please consider using Grub4DOS. Then, what are the characteristics of Avlgo exactly?
1. First of all, it needs to be used with Avlgomgr on Windows, and it seems to be able to be loaded only by Avldrng by nature;
2. Built-in support for ISOEmu's virtualization (its restrictions and functions remain unchanged);
3. Support for file storage in zip compression mode (previously Grub only supported gz format);
4. Support for romfs (newly added, which is quite different from Grub4DOS) ;
Here is also an explanation of why such a streamlined version was thought of. Aero may use Avlgo internally!
-----------------------------------------------
Well, please feel the interface of Avlgomgr:
-Oh, regarding the pronunciation of Avlgo, I want to give a suggestion (for the convenience of oral communication):
ei will go => It means I will go.
"Ai Wei Er Ge"
--------------------------
From the source, Avlgo is derived from Avldr, and Avldr is the loader of AviatoR;
The most original one is ISOEmu: because, AviatoR = ISOEmu G2! ^_^
--------------------------
Hope that everyone can accept this tool. ;)
