After booting the system with MS-DOS 7.10, I used the WIN98 installer on the hard drive. After the hard drive check and file copying were completed, it automatically exited and prompted to continue installation. After choosing OK, DOS prompted that the “PC-CACHE” program was running and WIN98 could not be installed. After exiting, I carefully studied the moderator's AUTOEXEC.BAT in MS-DOS 7.10, but I still couldn't understand it. There is a line about PC-CACHE like this: “IF NOT ERRORLEVEL 1 LH PC-CACHE /SIZEXT：4096 /WRITE：OFF /WIN /MINI” I don't know what it means, and I hope the moderator can explain it. If it's convenient, it would be best to explain the whole AUTOEXEC.BAT. Please give this newbie a lesson. Thanks in advance.

The preceding WAIT command plus IF NOT ERRORLEVEL 1 means that if any key is pressed within two seconds, then PC-CACHE will not be run (that is, loading PC-CACHE will be skipped); otherwise PC-CACHE will be loaded automatically. So if the installer does not support PC-CACHE, then when the prompt appears on the screen at startup, press any key to cancel loading PC-CACHE, or disable PC-CACHE after it has loaded.
