I bought a second-hand Toshiba laptop computer. It was probably made in 1998.
Configuration:
Hard disk: 2G
RAM: 64M
CPU: 233
Used to install Windows 95 system.
Suddenly it broke down a few days ago.
There is one USB port.
PCMIA slot.
Can I boot with a USB floppy drive~

You can remove the hard drive, put it into a mobile hard drive enclosure, import the relevant things like the 98 system and drivers to another computer, then reinstall it back to the notebook computer. Use a boot disk to boot to DOS and then perform the system reinstallation.

To users on floors 2 and 3:

Most of your methods are likely not going to work. For old Japanese laptops, especially those from Toshiba and Fujitsu, reinstalling the system is extremely troublesome. USB can't be used for booting, the PC Card slot doesn't have enough power, and the system made on a desktop PC won't boot (this is the most annoying part, not even sys or format/s works).

You can try changing the CMOS settings
Or find a machine of the same model, take the hard drive out and do a ghost
Special attention should be paid to disk to disk
