After you install the 98 driver, an emulation driver will be generated in the windows\cwcdata directory. When you exit Windows to the MSDOS state, the content of the dosstart.bat file will be automatically executed: SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 T4 C:\WINDOWS\CWCDATA\cwcdos.exe In general, games will have sound. If some games have no sound, try adding the parameter /G. Of course, this is a real DOS driver. You don't have to exit from Windows 98 to the DOS state to execute it every time. You can press F8 at startup, select 5 to enter DOS 7, and run dosstart in the Windows directory. The same applies to old versions of DOS. Press 7 to enter DOS 6, and the same operation. This driver has been verified to work normally in DOS because the sound card of one of my old IBM P3 laptops uses this.

Then you extract the compressed package in the 98 driver. I don't know if it can be extracted manually. If it can be extracted, there will be CWCDOS.EXE inside. If it can't be extracted, then you can only install it in WINDOWS, otherwise you can't extract CWCDOS.EXE. And it's not just this file. The driver also needs to read other files. I'm not using a notebook to surf the Internet now, otherwise I would pack the entire directory for you

http://www.cirrus.com/en/software/drivers/audio/pd3210.zip This is a driver for WIN 3.11. It contains drivers for DOS. First install WIN 3.11, then install this driver, and it will be okay.
