I've never heard that CD formats have + and - specifications; only DVDs have +/ - specifications...

In short, the more support the better. Generally, DVD±R/RW is fine, and it can also support CD-R/W at the same time. As for DVD-RAM, it's less.

As for addition and subtraction, I don't pay much attention. It depends on your personal needs. If you have a lot of things to burn at one time and want to save money, it is recommended to buy DVD R/RW. After all, DVD discs are at least 4.7G, and there are also 8.4G discs. If you don't have much to burn at one time, it is still recommended to buy CD R/RW, which is cheaper. Hahaha...

Haha, I also know that full support is the best.
As I expected, everyone doesn't know much about the meanings of those formats.
My purpose is to understand those formats, otherwise we will soon become "just users who buy and use", similar to how people now only use the system but don't know how to install or repair it.

This kind of problem, Baidu or Google will do, which is much faster than going to the forum.

There is a trend of more and more optical disc formats. Now the competition between HD - DVD and Blu - ray discs is similar to the competition between DVD +/ - a few years ago.

I thought it was the storage format of CD data, but it turned out to be a discussion about storage media.

TO MICHEAL:
You might as well start a discussion about "storage formats of optical disc data". I've heard a lot about hard disk formats, but I really haven't paid much attention to optical discs. I only saw it once in Computer News.

Regarding the storage format of CD data, I saw it in a certain computer magazine before, but it only introduced the formats of Audio-CD and ordinary data CDROM.

Hehe, when I have a burner, I will naturally pay attention to it.
