My notebook is DOS 6.22, and the desktop PC is Windows XP.
After I installed MS Network Client 3.0 on the notebook, I typed the net command, and it appeared "enter your name as...", then it asked me to enter the password for WORKGroup. Then the connection menu appeared. But my Windows XP was not recognized on the screen. (My Windows XP was not configured at all.) Please give me some advice. How should Windows XP be configured? Or do I need another operating system??? Also, my notebook is connected to the hub, but the light of the hub is not on. Is it not connected? I don't understand... Please, great experts, give me some advice. Thank you! |

To connect MSCLIENT to WinXP, it is recommended to install the NetBEUI protocol first.
