There are some parts I don't quite understand: with LoadISO you can create a virtual CD-ROM drive, but during the Windows installation process the computer needs to reboot. After the reboot, the virtual CD-ROM drive is gone, so how does the installation continue? |

Mm, that's right. To make an ISO file bootable, you need Grub + ISOEMU. Please refer to this post:

Different installation methods use different software.
Although LoadISO's virtual CD-ROM drive disappears after a reboot, the installation files have already been copied to the local drive, so the installation CD is no longer needed. This installation method seems to have restrictions if there is an NTFS partition. |
