My sound card is integrated (AC97)! I can't find a DOS driver on the motherboard driver CD. My board is inter845d.

Use HWINFO to check what chip the sound card uses, then see whether there is a driver for DOS.

The sound card is not MPU 401, but something like Sound Blaster. MPU 401 is the music card included in the sound card, a MIDI playback standard introduced by Roland.

Where can I get the driver? Most onboard sound cards now are AC97.

Just go to the corresponding company's website and download the driver. But Intel AC97 sound cards often don't have drivers under DOS. In that case, you can only use MIME to play music in pure DOS, or run it in a Win9x DOS window.
