I carefully read UCDOS's readme. It says that printing Chinese characters under the UCDOS Chinese-language platform should be very easy, but I messed with it for a whole day and still couldn't print a single Chinese character. I'm getting dizzy. Please, experts familiar with printing in UCDOS, help me out.
Chinese-language platform: ucdos7.0 Printers: panasonic KX-p1121 and epson c20 Under Windows both printers can print Chinese, and under DOS the dir>prn command also prints normally, so that shows the printers themselves are fine. I just got here. I searched the forum first and couldn't find an answer, so I'm here to ask the experts this basic question. Please give me some guidance. Thanks! |

Mine originally couldn't print either. If in Windows98 I choose "Restart in MS-DOS mode" and then enter UCDOS, it can print. Very depressing. I don't know what got changed, but if I enter MS-DOS from Windows98 and then enter UCDOS, printing Chinese characters just comes out as garbled text.
