I carefully read UCDOS's readme. It says that printing Chinese characters under the UCDOS Chinese-language platform should be very easy, but I messed with it for a whole day and still couldn't print a single Chinese character. I'm getting dizzy. Please, experts familiar with printing in UCDOS, help me out.

Chinese-language platform: ucdos7.0
Printers: panasonic KX-p1121 and epson c20

Under Windows both printers can print Chinese, and under DOS the dir>prn command also prints normally, so that shows the printers themselves are fine.

I just got here. I searched the forum first and couldn't find an answer, so I'm here to ask the experts this basic question. Please give me some guidance. Thanks!

Mine originally couldn't print either. If in Windows98 I choose "Restart in MS-DOS mode" and then enter UCDOS, it can print. Very depressing. I don't know what got changed, but if I enter MS-DOS from Windows98 and then enter UCDOS, printing Chinese characters just comes out as garbled text.
