Originally there was no music, but after using VDMS, there is music, but it's very unpleasant, choppy, and many notes don't come out at all. What should I do?

Use DOSBox. I've also used VDMS, and I feel DOSBox is much better than it.

I used DOSBOX, but the speed is incredibly slow! And the music is the same as VDMS. Later I tried installing a sound card emulation software under DOS (www.http://www.softsystem.co.uk/page9.html) and got very good sound~
But it's TIMELIMITED, it seems I need to buy it from the UK company.

DOSBox can adjust the speed. I have no problems playing games with DOSBox.

Playing Jin Yong's Martial Arts Heroes on XP can already play music! At the beginning, there is a slight lag for a few seconds, and then it's fine! Very perfect, almost the same as under DOS! (There is really no need to use third-party ones, which are反而 strange)
Maybe right-click on Z.COM or Z.EXE to adjust to allocate extended memory..
