My computer urgently needs to use USB under DOS, but I can't understand the methods the experts here have explained. Could one of the experts please not mind the trouble and give your little brother some guidance again? Thanks! My questions are: 1. I have already downloaded the DUSE and Motto Hairu software everyone mentioned, but I don't know how to use them under DOS 2. After extracting the downloaded software above, is it enough to copy it to drive C: under DOS? 3. To edit CONFIG.SYS, do I use EDIT? Could you explain it a bit more clearly to me? It's just that I'm too much of a newbie at DOS, thanks! 4. It would be best if each step could be very detailed, otherwise I won't be able to understand it. Thanks again!

For how to use USB drivers such as DUSE and Motto Hairu, see the CONFIG.SYS file in the MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk I made. Download address: http://newdos.yginfo.net/dosware/mdos71bd.zip You do indeed use the EDIT command to open and edit the CONFIG.SYS file.

config.sys can also be opened or edited with Notepad under Windows. There is also a Chinese-localized version of hd-copy.

After extracting those two files I downloaded, do I just COPY them to the DOS directory and then edit CONFIG.SYS? Please let me know, thanks!

It's not just two files, there are five files in all: DUSE.EXE, USPASPI.SYS, DI1000DD.SYS, USBCD.SYS, RAMFD.EXE. Their configuration methods can all be found in my MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk.

If you don't know how to use hd-copy, under win you can use winimage to format and write it to the disk, then it will work. If you don't understand DOS commands, you can use my instant Chinese-localized boot disk; under DOS type command/? and then press ctrl＋· at the same time to localize it. In my boot disk, di is used to expand img files.
