Aside from USB mice, my MS-DOS 7.1 boot disk should support all kinds of mice. If you want to add USB mouse support, that isn't difficult either; just use OHCI.EXE or UHCI.EXE.

The last version of MS-DOS is naturally MS-DOS 8.00. As for saying OS/2 is a new version of DOS, that is an entirely different matter. It means that IBM and Microsoft wanted to use OS/2 to replace DOS back then, but they did not succeed.
