How do I load the SB AWE 64 GOLD sound card driver under DOS?
My CONFIG.SYS:
device=c:\windows\himem.sys
device=c:\windows\emm386.exe ram
dos=high,umb
devicehigh=c:\progra~1\creative\ctsnd\drv\ctsb16.sys /unit=0 /blaster=A:220 I:5 D:1 H:5 /WIN95
DEVICEhigh=C:\PROGRA~1\CREATIVE\CTSND\DRV\CTMMSYS.SYS
My AUTOEXEC.BAT:
SET SOUND=C:\PROGRA~1\Creative\CTSND
SET MIDI=SYNTH:1 MAP:E MODE:0
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 P330 E620 T6
Can this work like this? If so, why still can't I play Legend of Sword and Fairy? (I already loaded XMSDSK.) Is it because there isn't enough conventional memory?
