My MP3 player is an Onda VX505, USB2.0 interface, STM3520 chip.
Under DOS, using usbaspi.sys shows some info such as SigmaTel, but in the end it still shows some kind of error and can't be used. Using di1000dd.sys, after it shows an ID:0, the cursor just keeps blinking there, and the computer is half hung too. What driver should this MP3 player actually use...? |

What error did it show? usbaspi only converts usb to aspi, you still need di1000dd.sys to drive it further.

Using both drivers gives the following result:
ASPI Manager for USB mass-storage ID:0 LUN:0=SigmaTel MSCN 0100 Installed ASPI manager. DI1000 ASPI DISK Driver Available ID:0 Then the cursor just blinks at the 0 there, and the computer is half hung (if I press Numlock it only responds after a while). Even after waiting several minutes it still doesn't move... Loading aspiuhci.sys and aspiohci.sys both shows Syntax error ... In the end, the result is still that the MP3 player can't be driven... |
