China DOS Union

Samsung external hard drive, the first partition is set as an active primary partition, and I copied the system files over. In the BIOS I set the first boot device to USB HDD, but it still won't boot. My motherboard is 845pE-V2
What should I do??? I'm so anxious I'm about to piss my pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've tried using KV2004's boot disk creation function to turn a USB flash drive into a boot disk (FREEDOS). Then I booted it in USB-ZIP mode. Later, under the DOS environment of WIN98, I used SYS C： to replace the system with MS-DOS. Not sure whether a hard drive can be done this way.
Or maybe your boot disk creation method is wrong. You should use FORMAT /S or the SYS command to make a boot disk; you can't just directly copy the boot files.

Of course your method won't work. You can't just simply copy the system files and call it done. You have to use format/s under DOS to make the boot disk, or sys works too.
