As the title says, when making a CD boot, EASYBOOT can load IMG image files, which is very convenient and easy to manage. But it doesn't seem to work under DOS. So how to load IMG images when making a DOS boot disk? For example, if I add PQMAGIC and the IMG image of Efficiency Source to the DOS boot disk, how to run them? Hope everyone discusses and shares ideas.

Under what environment does your DOS boot disk run?

Moderator, moderator, I have a similar question.
For example, I have already booted to DOS using Super Universal MS-DOS 7.10, I want to use d:\new\mine.img as my virtual floppy disk, can this be achieved? Or I have more advanced requirements to uninstall mine.img and then load another img file such as second.img Can this be achieved? |

Hehe, the idea of the 4th floor is the same as mine. I just don't know if MS-DOS 7.1 has such a built-in tool. Looking forward to it!!!!!

Since there are already many software that can simulate CD-ROM drives under DOS, then software that can simulate floppy drives should have been available long ago, but I just don't know about it. I hope some expert can be so kind as to give advice, thank you very much!

You don't have to insist on the img format. Compress what you want with arj and then extract it to a virtual disk.

What the 7th floor said makes sense...
All the discs I made use IMG, there are too many, ready-made, ^0^, I'm lazy~~~~ I imagine that if there is a virtual tool to load IMG under DOS, it should be very convenient, and the IMG in the hard drive can be used. There are tools to load ISO. When will there be a tool to load IMG? |

It seems there is a tool called "校img" that can read files of this type. I don't know whether this IMG is the format supported by it!
