I personally think the forum is divided too finely and too scattered. It would be best to make it more concentrated: DOS Usage Articles, DOS Software World, DOS Programming and Development, DOS Questions Summary. Four are OK. What does everyone think?

What do Teacher Mo, Party Secretary, Suifengshun, Fang Shao, Sandy, and everyone else think?

Appropriately streamlining the structure can further improve efficiency and reduce the burden on the peasants. Oh, that's a bit...
But if there are more and more posts on the forum later, it may not be good for browsing and management. Things should be divided into categories. Aren't lots of keys easy to carry? Not easy to carry, but there are lots of doors, so can you not bring the full set of keys?

I feel the same way. It should probably just be software applications (sharing usage experience, quality articles), software world (software recommendations, requests, downloads), software development (software programming and development under DOS), DOS questions summary (the place to ask questions) (but then posts where other people answer questions might actually fit better under software applications? These two sections don't seem that easy to separate either). That's pretty close to what the OP said. If it's divided too finely, it actually feels messy. Some people don't know where to post, and as a result they post it everywhere, one copy in every section. Maybe we should think about what classification would be the most reasonable.

I think four should be enough. The first time I came here I was already a bit lost and didn't know where I should go. Honestly, DOS is a compact little OS, so there's no need for us to make it complicated, haha

Those four are not bad, but where would the content for "DOS Development Exchange" go?

Development and progress can be put together, I think. After all, only with more development can there be progress, right?

Then should it be called "DOS Development & Progress"?

Sounds pretty good. Oh right, I've set up a second-level domain name for this forum: newdosbbs.126.com and newdosbbs.yeah.net. I think this makes it easier to remember, at least for me

I think the current forum's site affairs section and service section should be kept, and in the new DOS World just keep 4 subforums:
DOS experience exchange and usage心得, DOS software/articles, DOS development programming/future prospects, DOS question answering
That should basically cover all topics. Not sure what everyone thinks.
