8.8 Compiling Input Method Code Tables
CCDOS 97 itself has the function of compiling input method code tables. When using it, you only need to press the Alt key in the system setup program to select "Compile Input Method Code Tables", through which the text-based input method code tables can be compiled and automatically packaged into CCDOS.MB. And through the system setup program, select "Add" in the "General Code Tables" page of "Input Methods" to automatically complete the hanging.
The text format of the input method code table is exactly the same as that defined by Chinese Windows, but CCDOS 97 does not need any word groups, because in CCDOS 97 the word library is system-wide, and there is no need for the input method itself to provide word groups.
For the specific text format of the input method code table, please refer to the telegraph code text TELE.TXT that comes with the software.
