My operating system is WIN2000, and I want to play Koei's Romance of the Three Kingdoms III, a very old DOS game.
I installed the software "WinG 32" to solve the 32-bit graphics interface problem, and then installed "VDMSound 2.04" to solve the problem of DOS games having no sound effects under NT/2000/XP. The problem now is that the mouse function works normally, and there is a response when hovering or clicking, but the pointer itself cannot be displayed properly. I can only guess the position of the mouse pointer, which is really frustrating. I would be extremely grateful if the experts here could give me some advice!!!

Right-click PLAY.BAT and try setting the mouse to exclusive mode.
