For DOS, I'm a newbie and don't understand. I just learned DOS online. If I want to delete the d:\program files\bitcomet\downloads folder, is the DOS command "del d:\program files\bitcomet\downloads" written like this?

It can be like this under Windows 2000 and XP command lines, but it won't work under DOS

If the folder is empty, use the rd command.
rd d:\program files\bitcomet\downloads
If the folder is not empty, you must empty the folder first.
del d:\program files\bitcomet\downloads\*.*

Several of you upstairs didn't notice that you all made a very elementary mistake.
del d:\program files\bitcomet\downloads\*.*
Can these commands be executed correctly?
On operating systems above 2K or 2K, it can be like this.
If you want to delete the entire directory and the files below, you can do it like this:
rd /q /s "d:\program files\bitcomet\downloads"
You can also use
del /q /s "d:\program files\bitcomet\downloads"
Then all the files in the directory, including the files in the subdirectories, are deleted.
In DOS, you can use
echo y | del d:\progra~1\bitcom~1\downlo~1\*.*
del d:\program files\bitcomet\downloads\*.*
