I played mario before on a handheld game device. It was also called "Super Mario" and "Mushroom Picking," etc. The game itself was originally very fun, but this version is made quite poorly: there is no menu, there's no way to save your progress, and the control keys can't be set according to your own habits. I really hope this game can be upgraded to solve the above problems!
During the game:

Left, Right - Walk
Ctrl Left, Right - Run
Alt - Jump
Space - Fire (aim with Up and Down)
Down - Enter pipe (only some)
Esc - Quit
You can also use a joystick. To calibrate, run:

mario -j

For mario, "the control keys can't be set according to your own habits" is true. Since there's source code, why not modify it a bit?
Haha, it's just that the workload would be a bit large.
This game has a menu, can save progress, and even has lots of secret tricks.
