You can install Win98se to only 50MB with 98lite

There are 4 installation methods:
98Micro 50MB Minimized Win98 without IE, IO and any system burden
Sleek 90MB Win98 without IE, IO
Chubby 110MB Minimized Web-based Win98
Overweight 120MB Fully Web-integrated Win98 with all functions retained
Note: 98Micro and Sleek require 3 files under Win95 (already uploaded)

First, boot with the Win98 boot disk (With CDROM), format drive C. Then insert the second 3.5-inch disk and run 98pro46.exe in it to extract 98lite.exe to c:\98setup. (It will ask for the SN in the middle, already uploaded) Run c:\98setup\98lite.exe and follow the prompts to copy the installation files from the Win98 installation CD to c:\98setup. (For the 98Micro and Sleek installation methods, you also need to copy the 3 files under Win95)
Reset
Then boot again with the Win98 boot disk (Without CDROM). (If your boot disk uses relatively little conventional memory, you can also not restart) Then run c:\98setup\98lite.exe to install Win98.
Okay, Lite98 is finally installed.

The Win98 installed by the 98Micro method is the fastest. If you don't go online, it is highly recommended to install it.
If you want to go online, install it in the Chubby method, which is also fast.
If possible, you can also install an Opera6.0
Finally, I forgot to mention that Win95 and Winme can also be installed with 98lite. Win95 can be as small as 30MB, and Winme can also be controlled below 200MB.

Isn't the one above just one thing? It's just that the one above is Chinese-ized. Also, if you need a Chinese boot disk, the memory will be more strained, and it's not easy to use, so that's why I only uploaded the English version. The Chinese-ization file can be downloaded on the 98lite website.

I also tried it, there can't be 50M. I agree with IMP's statement. The reason I think is that 98LITE is not the PRO version, the PRO version is chargeable!!!

Don't you take a look at those hardware drivers? They are not small in size either! (Even the雷管 driver is more than ten megabytes.) I only remember that the size of installing 98Chubby is 160MB (including various messy drivers). Also, what I uploaded is 98litePro, which must be free. I went to the 98lite website to check.

Yes, it is possible to reach the 50M you mentioned, but such a WIN98 has little practical significance. I think it's better to choose the 98Chubby mode. Thank you for providing the PRO version!
