I wrote a graphical menu program under DOS (it displays a lot of bmp images), but when running other programs, it gives an out of memory error:
Reconfigure yoursystem to have at least 335kb free memory I'm asking the DOS experts here how to solve the thorny problem above |

Change it to use XMS to display bmp images

I haven't worked with XMS.
I just checked with the mem command and found that the system function called inside tc uses the most memory. If I remove the system function from the program, it works normally. I used system in order to run a .bat file. Is there any other way to run a .bat file? |
