Need to manually load ntfsdos/U + XZL, but if there are Chinese long filenames or filenames with irregular characters in the NTFS partition, when doing "dir", it won't work, the screen keeps listing files, can't be used normally, have to restart.

Built-in grub, seems to be relatively old version, after modifying mune to load Linux FC4, can load, but will die when reading hardware.

Now I delete the Super Boot Disk startup screen and help files, copy grub for dos, enter DOS7.1 and run grub to enter Linux normally,

Hope to change to a newer version of grub, can edit mune to boot multi-systems, and add the vim editing software under Linux to the Super Boot Disk (if there is a DOS version of vim), can read and write files on NTFS hard drives.

There is of course a DOS version. Vim is too large. It's not easy to cut down and not easy to pack either.

It is suggested that GRUB should not be used on the boot floppy. Use SYSLINUX, which is less than 10k, can complete functions similar to GRUB's chainloader, and can boot Linux.

Is syslinux easy to configure? Is it also like grub where you just modify the menu?

Do you have a DOS version? Give a link. Did the software download site forget to evaluate the DOS environment?

That is the one above, mounteverything. After installing it under Windows, you can make a DOS bootable disk that contains DOS version programs.
