My Discovery:
I have a USB flash drive and a hard drive. When I use DUSE alone, the system reports "Failed to load usb storage device", and I have tried many parameters when using DUSE alone, but it cannot recognize any device. And when I use Motto Hairu alone, I cannot find the device, but when I use these two programs at the same time, everything is OK, and it can support USB flash drives and hard drives, and can boot 100% successfully. If two devices are inserted at the same time, only one can be booted. You just need to write the following things in config.sys, but you need to download these programs first, and the download address is upstairs:
device=DUSE.EXE VERBOSE=0 XFER=64 NOCD
device=USBASPI.SYS
device=Di1000dd.SYS
When running to DUSE, the USB hard drive light will be always on, and it will still say "Failed to load usb storage device". Then when running to Motto Hairu, it will recognize the hard drive or Motto Hairu.
It seems that DUSE supports plug and play, but my method of plug and play is invalid. So I still hope to boot the device with DUSE alone.
I hope other experts can help me solve this problem.

DUSE does not support some chips indeed, unless it is updated. But the combination of DUSE and USBASPI is really good.

I found that OHCI.exe\UHCI.exe can also replace DUSE.exe. The IBM USB 2.0 hard drive enclosure in my unit will crash when using DUSE, but it won't when using UHCI. Also, the method with DUSE I mentioned above can't boot on the MSI 845PE max motherboard. I don't know which other motherboards don't support it, and the word '100% boot' I used was exaggerated.

My SiS735 chip doesn't work. When running DUSE, it hangs, unless the NOOHCI option is specified (but then it can't detect anything).

Please tell me about the situation of OHCI/UHCI driving USB hard drives. Is it read-only? Does it support FAT32/NTFS drives? Does it support PnP?

What a good method! I have successfully driven USB hard drives of different brands, including USB 2.0. The used computers include Toshiba 5205 and 2410 laptops, and VIA and Intel chipset compatible desktops are also okay. It seems that the combination is really amazing, heh heh

It can be seen that most USB hard drives and other USB drives can be normally driven under DOS.

This method can drive at least more than 80%-90% of USB hard drives, USB flash drives, USB optical drives, etc. If it really doesn't work, then we have to try other USB driver programs under DOS, such as IBMUSBCD.SYS, USB4DOS, etc.

My problem is relatively complicated!
I am using an Apple computer keyboard,
which has an integrated USB expansion port.
Usually, my USB keyboard and mouse are driven by the drivers on the motherboard under DOS.
But when I load the U disk driver using the above method,
the keyboard is locked.
I really don't know what to do.

Then don't load DUSE, but just try loading USBASPI.SYS and DI1000DD.SYS.

By the way, sometimes the effects of USBASPI1.SYS and USBASPI2.SYS are also different. The success rate of USBASPI1.SYS is often a bit higher.
