DOS has no uninstall program. To uninstall, you need to manually delete the MSDOS 7.1 folder, then delete the files IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS, COMMAND.COM, BOOTSECT.DOS, CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT under the C drive. Finally, edit C:\boot.ini, delete the line related to booting DOS under "[operating systems]", and save Boot.ini.

Can't see these files under Windows?
May I ask, do you delete them under DOS?

Got it!
The "c:\bootsect.dos" in "default=c:\bootsect.dos" should also be deleted!
Thanks to the above expert!
Many thanks!

I want to ask, when installing DOS, if you choose to OVERWRITE MBR, can the above method also completely remove DOS? Although I don't know much about MBR, there is a feeling that is there any impact between NBR and boot selection?
Please, seniors, tell me what MBR is? It's best to be detailed. What's the difference when MBR is selected or not selected when installing the DOS system?
