I will be out for something in the next two or three days and don't have time to do the test. I'll try it when I come back. Also, you don't necessarily need a burner to test this software. You can use VMWARE or VPC as virtual machines and treat the ISO document as a virtual CD for testing. After all, there's no need to burn two discs just for testing this software.

DAO has a /TEST option, which means it doesn't actually perform burning, but just does a demo operation, very convenient.

Most of the discs I make are tested and passed under VMware and VPC before being burned (preferably using both), which can ensure successful burning at one time and avoid regretting when an error is found after burning.

So I still suggest that you, WENGIER, use VMware and VPC. The early versions indeed had many bugs, but the new versions like VMware Workstation 3.2 or VPC 5.1 have already done quite well. It seems that VMware also has a server version, which is better. The DAO/TEST function you mentioned is available in simulation burning functions of CD burning software under Windows like Nero, Disc Workshop, etc.
