DOS is too old, and books about it are hard to find. It is suggested to open a second-hand book exchange area, so that we juniors can get some "secrets" from experts.

If you really want to learn DOS well, you don't need to hunt for secrets. You can find them in the library. If you don't have the heart, hunting for secrets won't help.

Moderator Dark-Destroy is right. There are quite a few books about DOS on the market now. There are also some in our school library. And I found a very old and thick "DOS Programming Encyclopedia" in the library. This is the legendary "secret recipe"!

It's a pity that we don't have a library here.

If there is no library, you can also go to some places like second-hand bookstores, old book stalls, etc....
And now there is what is called "online auctions", where you can also see DOS books for sale....
As the saying goes, "Where there is a will, there is a way". If you really want to learn DOS well, there must be a way, it just depends on whether you have the heart to do it!

Actually, there are also quite a few online tutorials, and the content is relatively new. I'm afraid it's more practical to learn from them than from those second-hand books. For example, there are quite a few introductions to DOS for beginners in this forum.

DOS Programming Compendium?

Can't buy it for sure. It would be great if there were an e-book!
