I accidentally made a mistake and backed up the system boot files to an NTFS partition, because I thought I had ntfsfordos even though I had never used it. As a result, after reinstalling the system, I can see the contents of the partition with ntfsfordos but can't copy them. I'm using Wuyou's boot disk. How should I solve this? Also, I'd like to ask why this kind of problem happens. btw, I registered last time, so why does it seem like my account got cleared so quickly? It can't be that fast, right? Wuyou's boot disk is not much use in these respects. You'd better just try the MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk I made instead (and it also has NTFSDOS in it):

Thank you very much, moderator, for replying so quickly. I installed the moderator's boot disk, but I just can't see ntfsdos. I don't know why. With no other choice, I spent half an hour repairing the Win2000 installation, and the problem is solved. But I still hope the moderator can enlighten me on the above question. btw, my computer often won't power on. Once it does power on, it's fine, but if I open the case once, it may refuse to power on again. Unfortunately it's like this again today. Really bad luck. I wonder whether the moderator knows hardware, or whether there are any hardware experts here. Many thanks!

Actually, if you choose the third item in the startup menu after booting with my MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk, it will automatically load NTFSDOS. Entering NTFSDOS at the DOS command line works too. As for hardware experts, go take a look at our "Single-Hook E Era Forum" — there are plenty of hardware experts there:

If the computer won't start, first check the power supply, RAM sticks, and graphics card; use the swap-parts method.
If the computer won't power on, aside from software, most of the time it's because the motherboard isn't seated flat inside the case.
1. The screws are tightened too much
2. The graphics card, MODEM, etc. are installed too tightly
3. The case is non-standard
Taking the motherboard out and not using the case will usually solve the problem.
