Today I was organizing CDs and found a very old CD. All the programs inside are floppy disk image files made with DDI and IMG. There are no directories, and the files are numbered and coded with letters. I don't know what they are. It's too cumbersome to open one by one in DOS with HDCOPY and DDI. I wonder if there is any software that can directly view these programs under XP? I tried virtual floppy drives and WINIMAGE, but it didn't work...
There are nearly 600M of programs. I believe there must be something good, but I can't figure it out. |

Those IMGs were made with early floppy disk image tools and are non-standard IMG formats, so no version of WinImage and virtual floppy drives can open them now. As long as there is undisk, you can easily list the contents of the IMG file, such as: undisk disk1.img /i600M. Oh, it's really rich!

Oh UNDISK Oh, where can I download it? Also, do the DDI files have to be viewed with DDI?

super Image, virtual floppy drive, supports DOS, XP? I haven't tried it either

The following is the statement by Feng Guo Shui Wu Hen on 2005-6-8 21:46:23: Download Wengier's MSDOS 7.1 Super Boot Disk. It's all there. I haven't tried DDI files yet. I estimate that Undisk supports them all because Undisk supports multiple floppy disk image formats. It can be used under Win2000/XP. |

Simg is basically supported, I haven't encountered one that doesn't support it
