img is a pretty old piece of software. It can conveniently virtualize img files as floppy drives, but I can't find any downloads anymore.
Same with lzx, I haven't used it before, |

I have an SIMG, a domestic tool, which can also virtualize img files as floppy drives. I've uploaded it here: Download SIMG

Not bad, I've used this before. Convenient, and it saves you from having to extract the img archive. Especially when booting from a usb drive, under dos you can view the contents inside the img

I've already corrected the attachment link in the post above, and now it can be downloaded.
