XUSBOOT Chao Pu DOS Tool Disk is collected and produced by XUSEN; through self-compiled batch processing, simple and fast operations are realized.

It uses the standard MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk "MSDOS71b" made by Wengier as the system. It draws on many advantages and drivers of the "grubdisk boot disk" . V3.00 uses "VTmagic.COM" "Let non-Chinese systems display Chinese characters! 5.01 optimized font core version" which was originally made , realizing the display of Chinese menus in the English DOS environment, which makes the operation of the tool software under the menu more stable. And uses ConMenu.sys made by yaya to realize the display of the CONFIG Chinese menu. XUSBOOT V3.00 also integrates GRUB4DOS made by Budian , thus realizing the "boot from hard disk" item in the CONFIG menu, and through the self-compiled batch processing wizard (GRUB4DOS.BAT) to realize the wizard-style loading and booting of IMG type image files or (GZ, ZIP) compressed image files. It can also be realized by entering "grub4dos c:\grub\win98.img" at the DOS command line to load and boot.



Function Introduction:

Cpzn XUSBOOT Professional has a brand new hierarchical mode, which is more simple and fast. The fully Chinese menu design allows users who don't understand DOS to use DOS tools freely.

1. GHOST Simple Operation Function
1. The "Intelligent Restore" function adopts intelligent analysis, search and positioning technology and drive letter conversion technology.
Supports reading Ghost images for restoration from FAT/NTFS/FAT hidden partitions, and any partitions of CDs or other external devices.
2. The "Intelligent Backup" function backs up the first system to the last partition of the last hard disk.


2. Acronis Command Line Tool TIDOS Backup and Restore Wizard
The backup speed of the Acronis command line tool TIDOS is not as fast as Ghost, but the compression ratio is high and the restore/recovery speed is fast.


3. AEFDISK Partition Wizard
AEFDISK is a disk partitioning software running in command line mode; supports all partition types.
The newly added AEFDISK partition wizard (AEFDSKCN.BAT) in V3.00 has a fast partition formatting speed and supports partitioning of large hard disks with a capacity of 2TB.


4. GRUB4DOS Loading and Booting Wizard
Adopts GRUB.EXE in GRUB4DOS made by Budian. Supports booting IMG type image files or (GZ, ZIP) compressed image files through the wizard. It can also be realized by entering "grub4dos c:\grub\win98.img" at the DOS command line to load and boot.


5. XUSBOOT Login Password Setting
Adopts unique password setting technology, which is safe and reliable.
After the first boot to the main menu, select "Options Help" -> "Login Password Setting" to set the password. Next time you boot XUSBOOT, you must enter it.


6. Supported Items
1. Supports reading and writing of various partitions: FAT, FAT hidden, NTFS, and Linux Ext2/Ext3.
2. Supports various device drivers: CD, USB, SCSI, IEEE1394, PCMCIA, etc.
3. Supports decompression of RAR, ZIP, ARJ, UHA compressed files and supports extraction of IMG type image files.

My hardware is an IBM notebook, a Cardbus USB 2.0 card, and a USB 2.0 optical drive.

Select the UMPCI mode, enter the driver menu, then select the USB-CD item. The EHCI can be detected, and the optical drive's model is also recognized. Then a prompt similar to "reading optical drive failed" appears, asking me to choose "Abort, Retry, or Fail". Before making a choice, it jumps back to the menu for selecting the driver type.

If I choose the EMM386 mode, the USB optical drive cannot be detected.

If under UMPCI, I select USBENAB, the prompt still says the optical drive is not detected. Then if I select USBMASS, the optical drive can be detected, but the optical drive cannot be used. It seems that the USB optical drive driver is not loaded...

The operation has no errors.
You can try the GRUBDISK boot disk made by blue777. This boot disk is relatively perfect for loading drivers. I just referred to his drivers.
If you are using a hard disk installation, extract GRUBDISK.IMA from GRUBDISK, rename it to XUSBOOT.IMG, and put it into the C:\CPZN directory to overwrite.

Haven't found one that can recognize the CD-ROM in my USB-IDE optical drive enclosure. Disappointed...
