Please, everyone, help save my computer!
After years of abuse, all the PS/2 ports on that computer's motherboard have died.
I was surviving on a USB keyboard and had a peaceful stretch for a while.
Then suddenly my hard drive went on strike, so now I can't get into the system, and I also can't use the USB keyboard in DOS.
Now I can't even format it.
Does anyone know of a way to save that computer of mine?

Very simple: go buy a cheap keyboard (or mouse) with a combo interface. It comes with a USB-to-PS/2 adapter plug. Plug the USB end into your motherboard's USB port, then plug a PS/2 keyboard into the PS/2 end. Otherwise you'll have to make a boot disk and have uhci.exe and ohci.exe run automatically in autoexec.bat; maybe that can drive your keyboard, but I still recommend the first method!

combo means combination, meaning it has both a PS/2 interface and a USB interface. It generally comes with a USB-to-PS/2 adapter plug.
