How do I use this software~ Please be detailed, I'm a newbie and don't understand DOS at all~

RAR is a purely command-line tool, and there are hundreds of command-line parameters. Explaining the usage of every parameter clearly is probably not something that can be solved in just a sentence or two. Since you're a newbie, you'll just have to study hard.

Oh~ thanks~~ I only want to extract the split RAR files that I compressed under WIN98, under DOS~~ How do I do that~ Thanks~

1. Copy all files from the Win98 installation CD into any subdirectory, for example: d:\98
2. Execute: rar a –r –sfx –v1440 ys d:\98\*.*
Then in the d:\w98 directory, dozens of consecutively numbered files will be created, each 1.44M in size (one of them is an exe file)
3. Copy all the compressed files to another machine, and run the one with the .exe extension (for example ys.exe). Follow the prompts, and you can join these dozens of files back into the original pre-compression Win98 files. Be sure to remember the installation serial number, then run setup.exe (just type setup and press Enter), and you can install it.
