I added these to CONFIG.SYS (MS-DOS 7.1)
BREAK=ON (to block CTRL-C) SWITCHES=/F /N (mainly to disable F5 and F8 at boot) But they have no effect at all.................. (I tried many times, and also read the examples in the help file over and over.................. I really have no way out) Please, experts, help me out and teach me Thanks |

MSDOS 7.1 no longer supports the SWITCH command. To disable F4 and F8, you should add this line under the section in the msdos.sys file: BootKey=0.
To completely disable the Break and Ctl+C keys, the Break command indeed does not work. I posted a thread before introducing a very good program, please refer to: http://bbs.cn-dos.net/dispbbs.asp?BoardID=4&ID=15207. |
