First question: after downloading the moderator's floppy-install MS-DOS 7.10, I used HD -COPY to extract the IMG file, and found that part of the contents had errors. As a result, after extraction the system couldn't boot, let alone install it. I'm using XP (does that mean HD-COPY can't extract IMG properly under XP? I don't think I did anything wrong.)

Second question: for an IMG file, do I only need to add it when burning a CD to make a bootable CD? I've never made a bootable CD before, only data CDs, sigh! Experts, please explain, thanks a lot

1. HDCOPY is not recommended; it's best to use WinImage's Format and Write Disk to extract it to a floppy disk. 2. You don't just add it directly. If you use Nero, you can refer to this old post: http://bbs.cn-dos.net/dispbbs.asp?BoardID=11&replyID=89290&id=14793&skin=0
