Help, I suspect there is a problem with my hard disk's boot sector. I can't install Windows, and every time I boot it says ntldr is mission. I've tried a normal format and low format, but unfortunately the problem still exists. I saw online that using pqmagic might help, but I don't know how to open files on the disk under DOS. Help~~~

ntldr is mission means NTDETECT.COM is still on one of your hard disks
under DOS, or with a Win98 boot disk, sys c:

OP is a friend from Hong Kong, right? Please don't type so many Cantonese words, I'm afraid some friends may not understand.
Since it's “NTLDR is missing”, that means you previously installed Win2000/XP, and the file NTLDR. is missing. Try booting DOS with an MSDOS boot disk, then copy the two files NTLDR. and NTDETECT.COM from the Win2000/XP installation disc. Assuming the CD-ROM drive is G:, enter these two commands:
copy g:\i386\ntldr. c:\
copy g:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\
Then restart and boot from the hard disk again, and see what happens.
What type of file on the floppy disk does OP mean to open?

After putting the floppy into the floppy drive, type A: and press Enter. If spfdisk is in the root directory of drive A, then just type spfdisk directly. OP, don't use Lowlevel format lightly. Repartitioning should solve the problem.

First discharge the BIOS and restore the initial settings, then boot from the XP CD into the Recovery Console and run the fixboot command
