Is there any software that can pause for a few seconds while running a batch file in DOS? I need it urgently, thanks, guys.

If you're using 4DOS as the command interpreter, then yes. It has an internal command, delay, so you can delay for as many seconds as you want. Or you can also use NORTON's BE, but that's an external command. If you're only calling it just to execute your delay, that's a bit too wasteful in terms of efficiency.

Just use Wait. It's also on the MSDOS 7.1 boot disk.

Pause means pausing, and you have to press any key before it can continue. But what the OP wants is to pause automatically for a period of time and then automatically execute the commands that follow.
