I'm using version 8.0, it seems I can only use up to 256M.

qemm 8.0 can only manage up to 64M. A patch can break through the 64M limit, while qemm 9.0 has no 64M limit.

If QEMM 8.0 doesn't use the USERAM parameter, it can indeed only manage up to 64M (but this 64M is just an approximate number). Using USERAM can break through the 64M limit, but I don't know about the patching you mentioned, Michael. How to do it and where to download this patch?

Later I found that with QEMM 9.0 and later, even without using the USERAM parameter, it can break through the 64M limit, but I found that it can only use up to 287M at most. I want to sort out the data about QEMM's memory management issues later and post a thread to discuss.

Remember that patch upgraded 8.0 to 8.03. I seem to have never used the USERAM parameter. It's been a long time, I've forgotten.
