SIS650 motherboard, P4 CPU, unable to install DOS 6.22. When installing DOS 6.22, it gets stuck at 10% and can't proceed. Copied all files using external copy commands, but couldn't format. Partition is 2G, formatted as FAT16. Checked everything normal. Finally went into BIOS to LOAD default settings, then could install normally. Don't understand. Thought DOS could be installed in any BIOS settings. Can't figure out which specific BIOS setting affected DOS installation. And can't get back to it. Can someone give some pointers, thanks!
