These belong to the classic category, but many are no longer practical nowadays. It is the correct direction to discard the old and welcome the new.

Take a look at mine: File management: Volkov Commander Disk tools: PQMagic series Media tools: QuickView Floppy disk images: UnHDC, etc. Chinese character system: Pocket Dragon Development/debugging: Debug,Tasmb These are the software I commonly use under DOS, and basically they can be considered relatively new --- of course, except for Debug, because I really like Debug's mini-assembler. At present I use a conversion program I wrote myself to convert macro assembly (not including macro functions) code into assembly supported by Debug, and then use Debug to generate .com files. Although it's not very convenient, the running efficiency really is high. Tasmb has similar functionality; I wonder if everyone has any other good methods.

There is also an ASM under DOS, also called small assembly. I don't know if it meets your requirements?

I'm quite inexperienced, having used few software. I like PCTOOLS (used to modify games before: P), HD-COPY (used to clean floppy drive heads, check disks, format disks, repair disks, expand disk capacity, copy bad disks), UCDOS (to view Chinese: P), PM (used for partitioning) and that one for mapping IMG (haven't used it for a long time, forgot~). Recently, I want to learn DEBUG. Please give me more advice!
